MtG Symposium: Autonomous Mapping Technology

Mapping the ocean floor using conventional ships with echosounder and crew onboard takes a lot of resources and somehow can impose hazard to human at sea - giving way to the development of autonomous mapping.

This session highlights some innovative and state-of-the-art autonomous mapping technology, and projects that used autonomous systems for gathering oceanographic data.
